Grudge Match: Alternative Medicine Verses Conventional Medicine
It’s a great night here in Metaphorical Mind Wrestling arena, where we have the Grand Champeen Really Heavy, Man bout tonight! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the long anticipated grudge match of Alternative Medicine Verses Conventional Medicine!
They’ve been yelling at each other for years, and now they are going to get down and dirty to prove once again might makes right.
In The Sterilized Scrubs
In this corner, we have Conventional Medicine, which is actually a heck of a lot younger than Alternative Medicine. He is the bodacious caduceus corner with the sterilized green shorts and scrubs. He is the favorite to win this bout of Alternative Medicine verses Conventional Medicine. He has a huge proven and documented training team. He also has had spectacular knock outs against polio, malaria and smallpox. His style is to find the symptom that hurts and completely dominate it. His attack is totally on the physical body of his opponent.
In The Druid Robes
In the green corner, we have Alternative Medicine, the challenger, in the sparkly purple Druid robes. Alternative Medicine, as you can see, is far older than Conventional Medicine, but just as muscular and powerful. Alternative Medicine might have laid low at the start of Conventional Medicine’s career, but then again, not many would let Alternative Medicine fight anymore until recently. In the analysis between Alternative Medicine Verses Conventional Medicine, Alternative Medicine is the harder to figure out. He attacks not only the body, but the mind and the spirit. He lets his team work with him with concentration on results for the individual rather than a whole group.
Ding, Ding
And now the bell has sounded and the match of Alternative Medicine Verses Conventional Medicine is on! Conventional Medicine is really pounding away with statistics, synthesized medicines and equipment. Alternative Medicine is taking the blows well and is still standing. In fact, he’s drinking a cup of chamomile tea and going into an elementary yoga position. Wow! What audacity!
That’s clearly angered Conventional Medicine. He’s piling on all the kicks, blows and throws he can. Man, look at Alternative Medicine bounce! And yet, he’s still smiling! He seems to be bruised, but not shaken.
And now the grudge match of Alternative Medicine Verses Conventional Medicine takes a dramatic turn. They are in a headlock, feeling each other out. Conventional Medicine is giving way, but is still on his feet…
The End Of the Fight
This has, of course, been a bit of fun about the serious controversy between alternative medicine and conventional medicine. But there is no need for them to fight. They are alike in helping people get better and stay better. It is up to you to decide what methods of alternative medicine to combine with conventional medicine. Good night.
